A very nice case.... A lovely dial, even if a bit too centered, and the presence of a date, which was not mandatory, at least for me... A dial design which is mainly explained by the size of the " in house " movement, whose origins have to be found from L...

I happen to have a soft spot for this watch too but with the brown dial as shown earlier. That later model had a better proportioned movement. I would like to see in the flesh. Cheers S.

Now that you point out the dial layout due to the movement size, I find it odd. Also, in the past I did not mind dates, but now someone must have influence on me because I am becoming allergic to them on a dial...except for big dates complication

Yes, I have nothing against big dates. The best example: The Datograph. Even the name suggests that the date has been fully thought since the beginning of the concept of this watch.

How about this version ? ...

Yes, but still rose gold case. Not steel nor platinum... Nor white gold. Add a black dial on a white metal case, or a blue dial... Remove the date. Center the dial parts a bit less... We have a masterpiece!

And change the hand and the script and ...

Naaah, not at this point! Much less than the former one...

Alas. As I said, I would have loved to see some iterations of this watch, which is born in... 2014!

That's a big point. Maybe 39 mm would be a better size.
