Dear all, sorry for the late follow up on my earlier post re the damaged box, GP sent me a new one 3 weeks later and its been sitting nicely at the corner of my computer room while the watch is journeying the space time continuum with me! the road so far:...

lien, Is that 'precious' sapphire for the bridges? I wonder if they are as easy/difficult to make as the metal ones? Certainly, not a lot of 'black polishing' required. I also was very excited when I read "elves". I thought you were going to report on the... 

Hi MTF, the sapphire were said to be very difficult to make/cut/drill/polish with its brittle nature and even more so when serves as integral parts of the movement, i was sold by the whole concept instantly back then. the total package is both refreshing ...  

but I like the watch more. It must be light being Ti and looks like a comfortable fit on your wrist.Congrats! Does it have a sapphire caseback BTW? cheers fernandp

yes it fits like a glove as all laureatos do Hmmm... the weight feels about an all steel watch of similar size with its movement/platinum mini rotor heavy. its 100m water resistance with see through back, pic as below(not mine but almost identical) & u ca...

frankly b4 i see it in the metal i have been tempted of one other tourby since i only wanted to own one to start with... and in between i have seem numerous others since my AD was worried they can't deliver and wanted me to get another one... then its ama...
