...and a great watch. Indeed your second shot is close to perfect. For the first one you could try using an aperture of f8 or f11 to get more depth 😉

Ok, I had to try out the light box as well and took my Girard-Perregaux Richeville Night/Day, Ref 27610 off the wrist for some shots. Not bad... CC ...

but will need to take out the Tripod for that. So I guess setting the camera on "Auto" does not always yield the best results
Really like your Night/Day 27610 !.. For me it has a sort of hmmhh - relaxed eclecticism, cool & unconventional, yet IMHO renders..

actually the time is 10:15 am. You read the hour at the top above the arrow as the 24h disc rotates and the large minute hand is just like a normal minute hand. The small dial shows the seconds
