Girard Perregaux Sea Hawk Cobalt Blue.

Here is a watch which, in picture, didn't enthusiasm me a lot, but which, in the real life, pleased me.

The Sea Hawk is a monster. A bit ala Omega PloProf. Big, bold, thick. With a curious case.

But, once you try it, there is something which works, which is very pleasing.

Here it is, taken in picture in 2014.

With a wrist shot for the good measure...

A good summer companion, don't you think?

Not mine alas, but why not one day.

Bet,

Nicolas

A proper adventure watch.

One of my favorite dive watches...

Is it auto or manual? You would think with a power reserve function they would all be manual but apparently some are automatic....🤔

Automatic, here. [nt]

I thought also about the GP as pictured in my post. But would have thought it would be way too big...
