Girard Perregaux - help me identify it, please

Hi,

while tidying up a drawer I stumbled upon a couple of old watches belonging to my family.
They have been stowed away for at least 20 years but I bet they are way older since my mom passed away in the early 2000's and she hadn't used any watch for as long as I can remember.

The one that caught my attention is this watch from the Girard Perregaus brand. The other is a Universal Geneva, another mystery.

I tried finding more info with searches but had zero exact match either by shape or code.

Can anyone help me understand what kind of watch I have and if it's a valuable item or not?

Thanks for your help!

...we don't do 'valuations' on this forum. A watch like that is unlikely to have any significant monetary value, but possibly sentimental value. I'd go with that until proven otherwise.
