First catch of the year
Last month, I purchased a girard perregaux Vintage 1945 in red gold and I like it so much that my first purchase of 2021 is the same, but this time I choose the titanium version with smoked transparent sapphire crystal dial.
Both watches are the moon phase, large date model but they appear quite different on the wrist. The red gold is of course more dressy, but this one has a cool, sophisticated look

But it would be nice if the Reverso can have such a dial too don't you think? A translucent one but retaining the same markers. One can dream...
I love this watch. Always have and reignites my want for this piece every time I see it
Do you remember a Cartier skeleton that resembled this? Was in early 2000's I think, not like the ones now and not the ID concept version, but looked like this. I cannot find anywhere.

Is the dial a smoked sapphire dial? Any chance you're from Penang? If so possible to let me know where can I have a look at this watch in person? You might have ignited something in my heart!

that a small round movement - gpo3300 0105 - is used but the manufacturer manages to show off the movement, yet conceal the fact it s actually small, round. Even has a (relatively small) sapphire display back, a round shape imposed on the rectangular case...
The titanium................
is uber cool, but i have to say I do really like the gold version as it is just beautiful.
