I got a new family car, another Porsche Cayanne. The V8 engine feels great with its massive 850 nm torque and the top speed of 252 km/h is enought for this type of car. Now I can leave my older Cayanne to the airport in Lapland and fly there for a weekend...
I think I could squeeze 5 of us in is classic from GP Now childish complication....only GP iteration or in general? Congrats on your new piece! Cheers D
interesting that you managed to find an older model 49805, which I also think is a better case shape than the new Traveller. This is a true bad-boy watch, love the all black and the many complications including the Fly-Back. Best, CC
The engine is like a dream with massive torque and enough hp. The acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is just 5.4 sec and when accelerating in a higher speed, the car really moves. I normally prefer petrol but Porsche staff both here in Estonia and in Finland...
This is a very cool and "bad boy" version of the ! Will be a perfect travel/swimming pool watch! Looking forward to hear your thoughts in a few months. Best Blomman
I can already imagine being in Mandarin Oriental Singapore and after a meeting jumping to the pool. To use something else than noble metals as case material is great and also to make such a watch "swim proof" is a very good idea. Best, Kari
As for your GP. I don't particularly like the way some of the numbers are chopped off. However ~ World Time, Chronograph, date ~ I'm surprised your old eyes are still able to decipher what's what on your watch. Good thing the hands and numbers are large w...
Cayanne is the facelift model. It looks nearly the same as my old but it is much better to drive. I must admit that the dial of the GP is "a little bit" messy. Let's see if I'm getting used to this watch. If not, my nephew will get one more. Best, Kari
That GP is the last version before the current model, right? I'm also considering "upgrading" to one from that version. Better water resistance is really a big plus for a travel watch. Cheers, Luis
I do not know the different versions. The shop had really many versions and I just liked this one the most. I thought it would be interesting to get a watch with ceramic case. Best, Kari
