A study in monochrome....

the end is near
Well, at least the end of 2007 - and 2008 will bring us some really nice news! Although there are no hard facts to share, i´m sure of this; GP didn´t fail to impress in the past years and that´s assuring they won´t do next year!

Among the 2007 new models that really caught my eyes is the "Laureato USA 98" model, dedicated to BMW Oracle Racing.
In particular, reference 80175-24-251-FK6A; the DLC-coated Titanium model with rubber strap, which i regard a very special and pretty stylish piece:

The "real thing" isn´t as colourful as one may believe at first sight, but of course represents a sportive approach in line with the sailing background of this edition. It´s a very rare sight, a limited edition of 150 pieces only - and i´ve yet to see one floating around.
That´s to some degree a pity, because i do feel the larger case of the "USA 98" as well as the DLC coating, which besides functional benefits is quite a cool sight, may do very well. And not just for a chronograph!
