A (little) christmas story - and a lot of excellent GP lecture for the holidays!

Dear enthusiasts,

as you may know, traditionally christmas is celebrated in the evening of December 24th in Central Europe.

The last year was a special christmas for me and this year, the greatest gift to me was to see my wife in good health again with no visible injuries left. That?s been a reminder there?s hardly anything more important than good health and thus i do hope all of you will enjoy the christmas and holiday season but also 2006 in good health either!

The other experience is that there?s no christmas celebration like one with children; i?m happy to have my brother?s family with us these days and the little ones make christmas very special. And surprising, as the greatest fun for my wife and my little nephew (he?s 2 years old) was not the christmas tree or the gifts, but blowing out candles:

So it?s been a great christmas on this end and i hope it is (or will be, for those celebrating the 25th of December) on your side too!

The holidays may leave some room for a good lecture and in this regard, you may enjoy several magazine publications as of lately.
To me it seems Girard-Perregaux got much more coverage lately and i find this most encouraging and interesting.

If you?re remotely interested in vintage cars, but fantastic pictures and some nice insights into car events, i?m sure you will enjoy this issue of "Auto Aficionado". The "Colorado Grand" meeting is one of the greatest meetings of important vintage cars and Girard-Perregaux is a main sponsor. In addition, Ron Jackson (as you know, president of GP NA), contributes some really fantastic pictures. Which do proof another one of his many talents!
So i really recommend having a look at this, even if the file is a little larger:

issue of "Auto Aficionado" on Colorado Grand 2005 (1.69MB)

The "Colorado Grand" event is subject of this print feature as well:

issue of "Grand Vail Valley on Colorado Grand 2005 (1.02MB)

Here?s a special surprise by iW magazine, which is certainly among the most important and leading watch publications in the world.
The issue December 2005 is the largest edition ever for IW Magazine and Girard-Perregaux was chosen not only to be on the cover of this historic issue, but enjoys a wonderful feature article too.
So don?t miss this:

clippings of iW magazine, issue December 2005, with mega-feature on Girard-Perregaux (890kb)

And finally, there are two new articles on GP which can be downloaded from the "Communication" section of the GP website.

The first is by QP Magazine, issue December 2005:

QP Magazine, issue 12/2005

And the other by L'AGEFI as of December 2005:

L'AGEFI - December 2005

With special thanks to Girard-Perregaux, Ron Jackson and "Agent X", who hopefully have a wonderful christmas and great holidays!

Seasonal greetings from Germany,

Peter
