7838 Inquiry
Hi Blomman,
My father passed away recently and left a number of items to me, among those a 7838 in really good conditions with minor scratches, working conditions, no straps (I added one already).
I love the watch from first sight and have taken it already to be cleaned and serviced.
I have found your page to be the most proficient and updated with proper and real informative data.
Can you provide your main recommendations for taking care of such a watch? Even when for obvious reasons I will never sell this watch, can you tell me how much would this go in an auction or sale.?

Yes, the Ref# also points to a later time
but good to see that this design was in production for a few years, so better chance of still finding some
All I can see here is an extra amount of pain :)

Why do I like this piece so much?
It says nothing, yet everything. It wreaks of vintage, but oozes contemporary cool. Fascinating timepiece!

Sorry about your father, he had great taste in watches! My advice would be to use it and enjoy it as a memory of your father! If ever any problems, find a good vintage watchmaker. Just stay away from water! As for value, here at PusistS we do not discuss ...
