My new 4952!!
Hello to all,
I was inspired a few months back by Magnus Bosse review on his 4952 and thought that this watch was very handsome and that it had many interesting features when comparing it to other similar products from high end houses.
As always, I made my homework on this piece up to the point where I had to make a choice and decided that this was basically a no brainer and a bargain when compared to a true manufacture watch from any other high end house.
I got mine in rose gold with the cream dial version and a wonderful tan croc strap to complement it.
Let me just say that I am very very pleased with my watch and that Magnus review doesn?t do justice to this beautiful piece! I have always been a GP fan and have had many different pieces and I truly believe that this one captures very well the essence of the Manufacture, all of its components are top quality!!
The operation of the watch has been flawless, as expected. Cal.3300 is very accurate and the crown is very smooth to operate and adjust, the hour, minute and seconds hand are perfectly aligned at every hour. I just can?t stop admiring the balance of the design, size and finish of the case and the truly creamy color of the dial is just awesome!!
I don?t know about all of you guys but this watch collecting habit becomes obsessive and at some point you just wish to stop looking around for the "new" watch, let me just say that I have founded an specimen worthy of keeping and I have given myself this watch to commemorate the birth of my second daughter (Maria Andrea) so, now, I have found the perfect excuse to forget about parting away with it.
