I think for me I tend to stick to the grill. I tend to just like the grilling experience. I will say I do this occasionally in winter. For me, the difference is seasoning. On the grill I just rub the steaks with salt or a simple rub. On the pan I’d add a bunch of seasoning and a little butter. This makes both taste different , can’t decide which I like better.
