Fusion fast food - tteokbokki Italian style ๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น

 

As posted some time ago, weโ€™ve taken to doing much more home cooking, as the culinary environment (on the days we do not go to France or Austria) leaves quite a bit to be desired here. 


Some time ago I tried making tteokbokki for the first time, which was quite a success - here the link to that post:  www.watchprosite.com

At the same time, my wife found it on the wrong side of acceptably spicy, so I tried a small Europeanization instead. This meant quite a bit less of gochujang (chili paste) and with tuna and a cream sauce, therefore without the squid / fish balls. 

It made for an interesting fusion fast food between chores and I believe it will definitely see a repeat performance soon ๐Ÿ˜‹ A tad less spicy (my wife likes it more) and the creamy tuna sauce is actually better for the gochujang. We paired it with some beetroot salad for freshness and it made for a pleasant meal ๐Ÿฝ๏ธ
