I love the pattern, of course - it is gorgeous and unique. I also love the simplicity of this two handed layout, putting all emphasis on the pattern. The strap gives it a nice easy going feel. Thanks for sharing it. What a pleasure to to see it.

That they left off the sub seconds seems an obvious enhancement to enjoy the details on the dial material

Re the dial, is it in several pieces? This is the first time I’ve noticed but I see four horizontal lines that make it seem like the dial is constructed in pieces. I obviously didn’t pay enough attention when these were released to know the answer.

The shotgun barrel was cut lengthways, stamped flat and chemically treated to enhance the existing Damascus steel pattern from the folded steel used to make the barrel.

But I had assumed from the flattened barrels each dial was cut separately. Was each dial cut separately in a single piece?

A very rare sight - and a beauty! This is such a cool collaboration. Which of the two series is yours from? And where did you get that beautiful strap from? Claus

Personal preference is for the dials from this larger barrel. Interesting back story. The original owner of this piece was offered to choose his dial. (Due his relationship and standing with Holland & Holland and Journe - apparently). He asked Journe ...
