what a heart warming post
thank you for your kind words regarding the forum, Jay. The forum still has a lot to offer, I believe. Even if certain bloggers/ watch journalists often are busy declaring the format a thing of the past - I think we will still be around for a very long time. We are all here, unpaid, but because of pure passion.
The point of the forum has always been that it is for everyone. If one is polite and engaged in the discussions, it should never matter if you are just beginning or are a seasoned collector. We all started one day. We are all here to learn and to share.
I hope to meet you and Padj one day. I would truly love to. You are both highly valued members here.

I mostly just lurk but yes
This forum is a cut above the rest. I think it’s because when you move into that category this forum inhabits you self select for a certain type of group.

Although I will say I only post pictures of it’s good side. The dial can often seem rather flat, like the modern dials. But then you get some light and it’s all lit up.

When I first saw that colour more than two years ago I wanted it for this watch. Just took me a little while to finally get it. With this strap on you almost feel like there’s a shade of green in the dial itself.
