As for the redesigned case for the Divine, yes that was very interesting to find out. The EARLY cases in 36mm (2003 - 2005) had 4 screws attaching the case back to the lugs.
In 2005 or 2006, FPJ changed this and redesigned the case and lugs as I explained. So if you see a Divine in 36mm or 38mm from 2006 or later, it would have shorter and wider lugs as well as NOT having the screws for the case back.
I will take a photo of the case back of mine to show you what I mean 😉

I love the octa divine, definitely one of the more uncommon Journe pieces and I'm always a fan of smaller case sizes! A fantastic choice for your wife as well!
