I don’r really agree with Christian’s comments on the clutter.
Somehow FP and his friends in Geneva manage to add a lot to the dial without ever being cluttered. One of the subtile secrets for that is using the same font for all indications also the big date.
How do you like the complication is it really that much better than a usual travel time?
I would buy it hands down if I wasn’t saving up for an LF.

Both sides are great to my taste.
But IMHO dial could easily do without date window. JK
On the other hand
the dial window implements a counterbalance. For me the dial would have been less balanced without the date. Best Thomas

I really love the relatively flat proportions of FPJ
Some people swear by the 38 case. My wrist is quite big so I actually prefer 40 of the manual winders. But the Octa that extra mm with the 38 is just so beautiful in my eyes.

When it comes to Travel Watches, this one is my dream.

Yes by far the absolute PP travel time.
You simply cannot have a PP travel time without the crown guards ( or flanks)-basta!
I think Im the other way around
I always struggled a bit with the dial of this one. For my taste, there are too many elements at play. The OCTA movement I love, however. It is a stellar performer and not bad looking for an Automatic. Great pictures, my friend!
