Not long after I got my CB years ago, I realized how frequently I was changing the strap and I quickly began to wish for a second buckle. At the time, they didn’t sell them separately and I was disappointed at the prospect of having to use a non-matching gold or platinum one instead. But a few months after a gathering that included Pierre Halimi and Mr. Journe himself, I got the call that a tantalum buckle had arrived for me at the NYC boutique. I was and still am thrilled to have something that makes my CB even more wearable, but I’m also very appreciative of the people at FP Journe for going out of their way to accommodate me—a very classy experience from a very classy team.
