Rose gold 38mm Calendrier

Aug 28, 2021,19:25 PM

From around 2010; reluctantly sending it for service after 11 years. Talking to the nice folks at the boutique I was told only 54 of the rose 38mm Calendrier were ever produced (much rarer than platinum)
IMO the size is just perfect and I still wear it fairly regularly; though I must admit it’s not the “daily beater”
One of my all time favorites

The calendrier is a wonderful gem. Glad to see it getting well deserved wrist time.

Definitely one of my favorite FPJ .

No I figured 11 years is a long enough time to get it serviced; it’s working perfectly otherwise

“If it ain’t broke, why fix it”?

It’s a lovely piece. Fits your wrist very well. Wear it in good health

You may be right!

Not really in a mood to spend a couple grands 🤔

I have lived with that adage since I started collecting

And, it never fails. I have watches that have not been services in decades and are still running strong and some that have exhibited an anomaly or two and have gone in.

Thanks all for kind comments

I think I am going to hold off on sending in to service for now. Bests

It’s a beauty.

Not that you’re asking but I’d wait at this point for servicing. If it develops a problem it won’t cost much more than a routine service. I have a GP chronograph that’s 22 years old. Never serviced. Never needed to.
