I bored of the watch fairly quickly....think the movement is beautiful but those cream hands always looked like plastic and I thought the printed numerals were so do....the strap was as stiff as cardboard and I upgraded to CS which I love! [nt]

It really is just as you described it.
So much so, that I am now trolling the net looking at some other pieces. I especially like the Havana models.
I am still not sold on the brand as a whole.
As you said, I also heard some stories about after-sales service. I have to think about this.
Tantalum, not Palladium, is the case material. Same as AP did on one of the Leo Messi models, and previous non-ambassador Limited Editions quite some time ago.
The latest version was the ROO Diver QE II Cup, in 2014, if memory serves correctly.
