I am so IMPRESSED with the platinum case and bracelet
Dear David, Thank you so much for these lovely pictures. It’s clear that you are in love with it.
I love the movement, the face and the background story of this watch and it has been well described. So not going in to that - but merely looking at case and bracelet of this rare iteration.
I’ve had the chance to play with it on a few occasions - but as I said elsewhere, there are not many of theses platinum Sport pieces out there.
I think the texture is amazing in the platinum. Different from the red gold pieces, which is more “sand like” - if that’s a term - and almost not there in the titanium piece. There is a lot of platinum there but that’s that’s not the first impression you get - you have to know. Because the texture somehow camouflages this. I love that.
Funny how I always thought that it was a shame FP ended the Centigraphe in the classic collection and that it was a mistake. Now I see that the Centigraphe perhaps sits better in the Line Sport.
Enjoy and thank you again for doing this post. I’m really grateful for that.
Christian
Btw. Did you deal with Tony?
