About the huge difference a strap can make on the Bleu, I will probably get more colors since they are so easy to change. The strap was a gift from the NYC Boutique and something made for them, besides the length, I didn’t have input. That being said, I like the roundness/thickness of the red strap in comparison to the flatter gator strap that comes stock, gives it a whole different look on the wrist, nice observation on your part. Skin color was not discussed but I can’t see that making a difference. Hope this helps…Jim

The CB is so versatile, almost any strap works well and generally the brighter and bolder colours work best. Question. How did you spec the padding (thickness) on the strap? And did the choice of skin dictate the padding in any way.

It does bring something different to the watch when you use a more padded strap like this, versus the super thin gators.
It reminds me a bit of how the Ming JR straps wear on my CB.
I tend to prefer a slightly more padded look than the OEM Journe gators as well.
I’m very much on the other side.
I think the Journe OEM double sided straps are my number one. Would replicate for other watches but I think one the case thickness increases even a few MM then extra padding is necessary.
The strap is amazing. I won’t say anything more about the watch though - it sort of speaks for itself. 😆
