...With my brother who I haven’t seen for some time. A local bistro with Moules Frites. This was a great way to end the first week of 2022.
I also got to test the navy strap on this piece. It plays it down quite a bit. I’m even thinking if I should have a blue alligator strap made for my Elegante. It would put a totally different spin on this piece. What do you think?

Ive been thinking if i should add a Tank as well. So far I’ve only bought a lot of books on Cartier. The design history is fascinating and timeless.
Hmmm. It’s an interesting thought Christian, I’ve not seen anyone do it yet.
It should absolutely work, classic case size and shape that until the Elegante was always seen on leather. So I say “do it”.
The case is not as flat as the Vagabondage so I would have to work with a good strap maker.
