I saw a cognac band on a platinum FP Journe Chronomètre Souvrain, and I had been thinking dark navy blue and black ... but cognac works...even better. I'll drink to that! Cognac is the new black ...

I had the same on mine for a number of years. It brings out the blue of the hands and the hue of the dial. I’m thinking it’s a trick of the eye, by removing the black, you lower the contrast and adjust your attention more toward texture and nuance. I know...
