A little GTG, and a friend’s “new to him” ARS.
I mentioned this in another post but the ARS on the bracelet has me really smitten. I’d not seen one for years until this weekend.
Compared to the current reference this older generation, like my CTS, is a warmer watch if that makes sense. I think in large part that’s due to the bezel, which is rounded in these older generation watches versus the flat inlaid ceramic bezel of the current reference.

Yes, I see what you mean.
The new bezel gives it a more agresive sporty look. Think I prefer the old. That is a great picture, my friend.
This thought didn’t really hit me until I had the ARS in hand.
Old for me for sure. Having these two in the hand just reinforced that.
Looking good with the titanium siblings.. and if T goes you can have a titanium threesome. LOL
Anyways I would be happy with the larger version with ceramic bezel as well!
