For me personally, that strap is the best choice for that dial.

It somehow gets more casual. I’ve often paired black dials with light brown. And as you say there is even a match between the remontoir and the strap.

I do like contrasting straps on watches.

I have the same strap for my CB.

And the watch is one you can never fall out of love with.
