Yes, a 'please help' post!...
(But hopefully you guys will know that this one isn't coming from some scammer!).
A (genuinely) good friend recently (genuinely) inherited the watch below upon his father's passing. It's thin, WG and automatic. He has tried to get more info on the watch from VC's Australian agent but with no joy.
Is anyone able to help with details of the model, vintage, movement etc???

If it is a very thin automatic, I would guess that it uses the marvelous cal 1121 movement. If there is nothing inscribed on the back, then all the information about the ref. #, case #, and movement must be obtained by removing the case back. With the cas...

Beautiful dial and bezel; looks like hammered white gold. The dial says: "VACHERON & CONSTANTIN" which would indicate a more vintage piece...perhaps 1970's. In that case the movement may be a Calibre 1001 or 1003. But Dan is right. The case S/N is in ...
