Is there any model that we would prefer the white dial version more than the black?
Better yet, a black dial model that we would love to see it in white.

I have three vintage and one modern target for 2011. Modern target is the DSA US....hopefully in the bag On vintage, the 16550 Cream, the 1680 metres first. And then of course, the impossible grail.....the 5517 with full provenance. hahahahahaha...i even ...

1680 Meters first, you mean the Red? Won't be too hard to get it. 16550 is abit more difficult to find in perfect condition and complete, but it is " playable ". The TT DSA US is in the bag, indeed. As for the 5517, now that is a defy... Best, Nicolas.

Yes...i mean the red 1680...full papers etc..... hard but not impossible.... the 16550...full and complete...hard but not impossible.... 5517...perfect no-issues...... can certainly be done....just a price issue. We have to have goals!! And plans. And luc...

'm very hapy with my White Explos 16570 and 16550.
These are my 2 white dialed Rolex, and love them a lot. As for a White GMT... Hmmm, not sure. I see very well what you're referring about, I'm nt a expert, but I would stay away from these White 6542s. A very controversial watch, to say the least. Now, IF...
I still can't stomach the cream dial, too rich for my blood.
But I would love to see a 16550 or 16570 with caramel index I can dream, right? Let me see I can photoshop one ... Best Tyler

A friend of my uncle who used to collect the early gmt master and the mid 60's gmt master told me that the white dialed ones were made for panam commercial pilots. I do remember when colored ad from the late 50's-early 60's with that watch being the offic...
