What would you do?
Back in the winter of 2014 I bought this Rolex Datejust 36 with jubilee bracelet and silver dial after I sold my Day Date II in white gold. Not as a substitute for the Day Date, but I liked the jubilee bracelet with hidden clasp just like I liked the president bracelet. But since then I have hardly worn this Datejust mainly because of its size...
Now that the GMT is coming and hopefully I will be able to buy it this year, I consider selling my Datejust to get some funds for the anticipated purchase of the new GMT.
But, I am losing a lot of money on the Datejust and although it is not a sports model, losing more than 1k in euro’s does not feel right. Maybe I should keep it for my daughter so when she turns 18 she will get a vintage Datejust....
On the other hand I could use the money to buy the GMT.
So my question to you: “What would you do?”

If it feels wasteful to you to have it sit, I say trade up for one you’ll use.

Only a Patek you buy for the next generation, say Patek! I think the best is not to sale, you loose to much. When it is posible you can buy the GMT. Generaly it is not a good idea to sale a Rolex, they always come back. Best Walter ...

One K in euros is nothing
If you can lose only that its a no brainer to sell if your not wearing. Some watches lose 70 to 80 percent right out of the door. Buy Rolex or Patek.
