Hi everyone,

Please let me share my new watch box with you... I was impressed by other members posting products from Toyooka Craft in Japan and had to order a piece for myself! I especially like the craftsmanship as they employ the "kumi-ki" method whereby they construct products using only wood - no nails, hinges, etc just precision fitting with wood.

They use North American Alder wood and I quite like the shade of brown. Removing the cushions reveals the pillar like separators underneath which I also really enjoy.

Another cool detail is that they cut out a slot for the felt covering the cushion so that the bottom of the felt is completely flush with the wood.
