I think that people are led astray by photos of the Antiqua -- as you know, it is much more delicate in life than in images. The time telling dials, of course, are very different in size indeed! All the best, Gary

I thought I had a decent vocabulary, but I had to look that one up! It of course turned out not to be a small South American republic, but a medical state including, among other things, low blood pressure. Brilliant! If we can all couple racing heart rate...

Having worn the Antiqua every day so far this week, today it was the Observatoire (I just can't resist it). For the weekend, perhaps put both in the safe and head out with my VC Overseas... Best, Gary

I've had a great run of recent acquisitions, but for me it's just as much fun (and an interesting challenge) to return to old favorites once more with the camera. And of course, it's even more fun to enjoy the great photos that you and others post here --...

...is of course somewhat out of character for me, as I've spent so much time learning how to get edge-to-edge sharpness with tilt/shift and focus stacking that I'm almost phobic about bokeh! Appreciate the feedback -- it will encourage me to swing back a ...
