Tried some watches today.

Visited an AD today. I actually took my wife with me, in the hope that she would be moved by the beauty of the timepieces and let me...

Well, at least I tried......the watches.

Ronde Croisière de Cartier. Stainless Steel.

Cle de cartier. Two tone SS and RG bracelet.

Rolex Cellini Dual Time. Rose Gold.

JLC Master Ultra Thin Moon, silver dial.

JLC Master Ultra Thin Moon, black dial.

JLC Master Ultra Thin Date in Rose Gold.

JLC Master Ultra Thin Small Second in Rose Gold.

H. Moser Endeavour (Mayu) Small Seconds in Red Gold case and dial.

H. Moser Endeavour Centre Seconds in White Gold case and Fume dial.

Last, but definitely not least, H. Moser Endeavour Perpetual Calendar in Rose Gold and Fume dial.

So, after trying all these beauties, wife said: "nice watches indeed. Let's go home."

That's the end of the story, for the time being, at least. I will keep up my PERPETUAL ENDEAVOUR, and one day I will score a real TRY and bring the trophy home,, like the All Blacks did in the Rugby World Cup last year.

Don't give, never say never....at the corner of the JLC display, I saw 2 Duometres, did those not interest you to try? This AD must be quite big to carry these brands. Rgds Raymond

The Duometres are beautiful watches indeed, but they are the kind of watch that I like to see but not put on the wrist. And yes, the AD is quite big, carrying around 20 major brands.

to try out different watches is a dangerous game. However, sometimes the thirst just ends there, as something you liked in pictures just didn't work on the wrist. Other times, a watch may cause sleepless nights and the only remedy is to .....PULL THE TRIG...

My wife liked the Cle de Cartier on photos, but found it not as attractive in the flesh. In the meantime, sleepless nights for me, as I was pretty satisfied with all the watches I tried.
