Thinking of upgrading....What do you think
I have now been told that the new 324 movement that has been fitted to the 5146 for some time in the USA and other countries.
Is due to arrive over here in the next few weeks.
And I was considering part exchanging my cuurrent Y/G for a W/G with a cream dial, that will have this new movement fitted.
I would be very grateful if any member could please give me their views on the movement.

I suppose yours has an 315. The 324 is indeed a 315 with some modifications. As a customer you won't see or feel differences. I won't be more accurate, it is not better finished. The only difference is an advantage for Patek. The 324 takes less time to re...

At 28,800 vibrations per hour versus 21,600, isn't the calibre 324 supposed to be more accurate than the 315?

Patek said a customer would not notice any difference , being more accurate would make a differcence. On the other hand, who cares if a watch loses 1 secon more or less per month.
