I just sat yesterday in the new S class.

I've not driven it yet, but was really positively impressed by the new interior design. It does not look old anymore, and will probably attract younger owners. Finish and comfort is great too. 

The bad point was the colour scheme. It was a black on black combo and that looks bold. The exterior design is much more subtle than on previous versions and look massive and too simple in black. A palladium grey will be probably a better choice to enlighten the car and show its subtlety. And inside a brown or white main colour will be more refined.

Overall the car looks less aggressive and show off, more like a top range E class. Some will like its kind of understatement, others will not....
