The Manufacture's Book of Timpieces
While cleaning out the bookshelf I came across an Edition 2002/2003 of the above.
Going through the pages, I saw many familiar faces of watches and people from the Manufacture.
This brings back memories of a time when I was piqued with so many of their watches that I acquired a few of them.
There were Master Ultra Thin, Master Geographic, Master Perpetual, Reverso Geographique....
They are, sort of, my "tool" watches that I wore day in and out..
All the watches are still with me but sadly, I only wear them occasionally.
The photo above shows the Perpetual was last worn on Dec 2018.
Nowadays, my wrist has an activity tracker - like a fitbit or an Apple watch.
Maybe it is a sign of time or maybe I just lost it...
Looking back, those were the good ol' days...

Interesting how many of us change as the years go by.
When I look back I realize that there was a time when I looked at every major sport event on TV. Today it has to be something very special. I much rather do something myself versus watch TV Bon weekend

because we do get older. Age also because there are things we have focused our attention on for many years and now it is time to move on. However nature and its beauty is still something that I never get bored of
Of course.. there will be new fascinating pieces in the future...
in fact, I did acquired many more pieces in the years after... but it seems what all that keep me interested in are all the Hybris Tech series... I can't keep up with these.... not to mention that they are not daily wearable... I guess my watch journey is...

Thank you the post of your JLC book. I hope you wil start wear real watches again. I do not know if you must wear a digital battery thing for health reasons.
Yes, I do wear them on occasions that warrant a real watch..
perhaps, I've become more conscientious about my physical health over the years.... ... but you're right... maybe I should wear both.... on left and right wrists... )
