Suggestions for First Pan Purchase
Hello, was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for my first pan. I was just about to purchase a u-boat flight deck cab 50 when i was struck by panerai fever. I was looking at the pam 5, the 183, and the 104. Could anyone help me out, thanks a lot.

i was reading that the new model panerai's do not require the tool for changing the straps. Does this include the new 005 and 000's or is it just a few models that have this feature. I was reading about a 240 with a chocolate dial that had this fyi
My Choice...
I chose the 112, classic Panerai style. Got one with the sandwich dial and love it! My second the 283....once you start you won't go back..good luck!

Many are not suggesting the 183 because of this simple reason :)
Most of us prefer to have a Panerai Luminor as our 1st Panerai instead of a Radiomir. For me, it's because of the iconic Panerai crown protector Cheers, Anthony

Does the luminous effect vary between the pam5 and pam0
in other words does one have a bolder appearance in the dark?
