Vacheron Constantin

Some scans from the Paris VC Exhibition

I tried to take some photos over the week end but please be indulgent my camera sucks and the light was terrible . But then again hazy pictures are my speciality

The shop can be noticed from far away:

Inside is Ali Baba's cave for any watch enthusiast:

This one is one of my favorites. Dtaes from the late 19th century called "a la Breguet" due to its dial. A wonderfum jump hour which I would loive to see adapted ina wrist watch:

Another beauty: a triple date in white gold made in 1931 and retailed by hermes. this watch sold for over SFR 446,000 at the Quarter Millenary Auction!!

Vacheron in the 1930 was quite known for its watches know as "American" due to the in line calendar indications. This piece also had jumping hour and minute indications via discs. Another beauty I would love to see in a wrist watch!

The Malte Perpetual calendar minute repeater. I tried it on and wow it feels good on the wrist

Wall clock from 1790 in form of a Maltese Cross. Interestingly it is in the form of the brands symbol 100 years before the Maltese Cross was officially adopted by VC!!

1940's Deck watch:
