Senator Navigator Military Style.
It is not that I am unhappy with the original combination, but another strap is always a great way to change the perception you have on a watch you're used to admire.
So, I tried some other combination, and mainly, a Nato, for my " Rimowa ".
A high quality Olive Green one, to start:
What about a Cream Nato?
Less Military, certainly, but not less appealing, as it better matches with the indexes.
Besides the aestehtical changes, it is always great to re discover this very nice iteration, and to share it!

The olive NATO works for me, Nicolas. I would venture . . .
. . . that a black Bund made of raw black shell cordovan and matching stitching would make a good aesthetic match with the Rimowa Navigator, and nothing would beat it for comfort.

Where did you find the green NATO with the red piping? I own the Senator Navigator No Date, and was considering the Trieste strap, but I like this more, as in mo betta.

These are the best Natos, in my point of view, with the original ones, which are less comfortable, but which are loaded with history. What I know about these Natos is that, at a certain moment Bamford and Sons made them, but they don't make it anymore. So...

The past few months I have been craving one of these NATO straps. I have an old Swiss Army beater in a drawer somewhere on a NATO and it is so comfortable.
The only thing is to try to find a high quality one, Michael.

Well, this is a hell of a watch, which I l love more and more with time passing.
I thought about changing the strap ( which is correct, by the way ) for a long time, now. And the Nato works very well with the spirit of this Senator. You should try one, my friend. Best, Nicolas.
