Horological Meandering

Seeking assistance with watch search...

 

I absolutely love classic watches with white enamel dials and am hoping to find just the right one.  So far, my front runner is Speake-Marin's Serpent Calendar.  However, I am not sure I would be able to wear this watch with it's long lugs, having a small asian woman's wrist. Also, the price is a bit on the high end.  Second choice is the Chronoswiss Orea.  I especially like the hand wound version with the "12" in red.  A few criteria would be that the watch has roman numerals, is no larger than 40mm (ideal size would be 37-38mm), and preferably have a sapphire caseback.

I would greatly appreciate any other suggestions that I may have missed. Thanks.

and it actually wears very well on my less than small wrists. If you have a penchant for roman numerals as I do, was a smallish piece and classic simple looking, maye be consider, as I am, the VC Patrimony Classique. Its 35mm, in-house cal 1400 manual win...  

That is a very nice watch...

Have you considered the PSM's in the 38mm size, or is that still too big? I thought all the models came in 38 and 42mm sizes. I absolutely LOVE PSM watches. There is a beauty and soulfulness about them that cannot be denied. If you have the means, you sho...

I am definitely only looking at the 38mm ones. But I fear that even this size may not work well for me because of the long lugs. However, the long lugs are one of the features that I like best about the watch. I cannot say for sure yet since I still have ...
