Gilles has worked on several Sarpaneva watches in the past. He works from his workshop in La Chaux De Fonds, where he does diamond setting for the watch industry. He also engages in some engraving work. He is also a old friend of Stefan, who Stefan calls,...

having 2 faces of the moon add depth to the dial and the way time display laid side way is nice change. the moonshine just might be my first independent piece:) cheers, Ed

but hand to heart, if you are unto your first Indie, may i humbly suggest you do abit more research first. I dont mean to be rude. People turn to Indie for a variety of reasons...but they mostly start from mainstream brands before discovering the wonderfu...

The first problem is getting out of Baselworld safe and alive - and without going broke, down to the last button hole on a shirt, or the final hole on a strap. Or go for the moonless skull on the Tourbillon RM 052, which will cost a hefty bit more than al...

Also nice to see Stepan 'playing around' with diamonds. With all the ideas he has, this is a fantastic way to expand the horizons of his watches. I am not sure, but I suspect these are the first ones using a larger number of precious stones? Or was there ... 

with a grand total of 283 TW-WS diamonds including the 62 in the buckle. The challenge to Stepan and Gilles Meier was setting them into steel. Only 5 have or will be made. All this info comes from the Sarpaneva website. amerix
