BaselWorld 2013 - Stepan Sarpaneva
BaselWorld 2013 - Stepan Sarpaneva
Stepan Sarpaneva is continuing his calling to explain the Finnish soul to the rest of the world through his watches. The bitter-sweet ambivalent smile(?) of his iconic moon face just the most recognisable sign of this. His clean and clear design contrasting the sensually rounded forms of his cases with fine filigre work of the dials is always satisfying. The color combinations always work, I find the gray titanium with blued steel particulary good looking.
