Same question revisited, MICRO ROTOR WATCHES..
brain keeps saying 5712, 5712, 5712, 5712, 5712, 5712,.... but i just dont know...
i started looking at some L.U.C Chopard pieces with the 1.96 movment, but i keep thinking 5712..
can anyone reccomend a watch with a gold microrotor with display back, that they feel out does the 5712? (price can be anywhere 0-50k)
would really appreciate any insight.. need something to get my mind off the Polaris that hasnt arrived yet and i need something interesting to wear while on holiday.

Lange Automatic Watches don' use any micro rotor. I agree that it looks like, but it is a 3 Quarter Rotor, in fact. Best. Nicolas

It seems to me that Chopard does as nice a job with their finishing of their micro-rotor movements as PP does. There is a comparison somewhere around here. At any rate, it would matter much more to me what the overall design of the watch (especially dial,...
i just think the solid gold rotors
lend themself more aesthetically to the movement.. not saying more important than the dial.. the patek 5712 movement looks identical to the LUC 1.96, like every single gear is the same..
