Rotor in my new Master Control Automatic, questions:

Well, day 4 and still love the watch.  There was never a honeymoon as I knew what to expect, I am just enjoying the ownership of it.

The only other mechanical I own is a Archimede Pilot (can you say significant upgrade! - well, the Archimede is not going away) and the rotor was not very smooth.  Very coarse and jumpy, definitely a lot of friction or not enough weights.

However, I get the JLC and the rotors just floats.  It spins easily, and even winding by hand is a pleasure.  What is the main cause (or is it the sum of lots of small things?)  I'll flick my wrist and sometimes I will hear the rotor buzz around a dozen times!

Also, I know it has the 22C gold oscillator weight, anyone know how much this weights?

I imagine there are countless other details that are equally as interesting on this watch.

Thanks!
