Romain Gauthier C - Open Dial, Two Ways
A quick lunch last week and a chance to see a variation on my C6.
This time paired with the bracelet (note, the straps and bracelets are not interchangeable; you pick your poison and die with it). The dials are also different; as with all the titanium bracelet editions the numerals / indices on the dials of these versions are full blocks of Super-LumiNova, no surrounds. Also the dial colour is a dark gray.
These are similar but also obviously very different watches.
For me initially I thought I was going to purchase a C on the bracelet. The primary reason was that it does sit on my wrist (or fit) better. I may still buy one, but not in the near term as I have other business to do with Romain Gauthier (hopefully).
On the wrist the bracelet version wears very well; it’s light and comfortable. And as you’d expect from this manufacture the finishing is just right.

One of those times that maybe “both” is the right answer.
Although for me, I think if I chose a bracelet version it may not this open dial.

I prefer the strap, especially since you said that the detail on the crown can be changed. Makes it much more versatile. Although, I really do wish manufacturers would make bracelets and straps interchangeable unless the watch was truly an integrated brac...
Just to point out, the cases are not the same.

I think I prefer the strap version as it just seems more sporty and would seem to offer better options to change it up with strap changes, whilst the bracelet version looks a bit more serious and sombre to me and has no options for changing its look. Wear...

Both are beautiful but
the strap version ticks all the boxes for me, being able to change the color of the strap is a huge plus too. Actually the strap version of yours lives rent free on my mind, hopefully one day in the future I can get one.

Not sure if that’s possible; and it wouldn’t look right. The differences in the two cases are such I think it just wouldn’t look right.
