RM Servicing Charges
Dear All,
A recent check with the RM service center revealed that a full movement overhaul (including case polish and refinishing) will set me back SGD$7400 - all this for an RM010, the most basic watch in the RM lineup. I find this a tad on the high side. Could anybody confirm this? Also, it would be appreciated if someone could perhaps PM me a third party RM service if possible.

What is the extend of the service
Why do you need a movement overhaul S$7k for a major servicing is big price to pay.

i wonder what they do with the term of "overhaul" it is quite hard to justify the price, and you can get a rolex with that best, Ed
Warranty
I would think that if your watch is in the warranty window, this servicing should be free of charge.
Not sure which boutique in SG you went to...
But a recent check with RM at Marina Bay Sands, the boutique manager mentioned S$4k flat. Please do let us know who quoted you the price and where. What I'm thinking, this price was a guesstimate by the staff?
