Ressence Type 3 BB2 Review
Dear All,
It has been a while since I thought about Ressence. I owned a Type 3 White back in 2023: www.watchprosite.com
And also a Type 1 Squared in 2018: www.watchprosite.com
Both watches are now gone but certainly not forgotten. So when Ressence released the Type 3 BB2 in 2024, I thought this could be an even nicer model than the white. The changes on the BB2 are subtle but meaningful:
- No more runner dial — it was never that useful anyway
- New typography (I love fonts and typography, so this really appeals to me)
- Overall it looks more rounded, achieving that total smartwatch aesthetic
- The dial is cleaner with only 3, 5, 7, 9, 11 displayed instead of all indices
But enough talking — I'm happy to share my joy with you through some unboxing and wrist shots...
I have many amazing watches in my collection, but nothing is quite like a Ressence. The way it displays time is truly unique — totally discreet, yet if you know, you know.
The only possible downsides? The black version is much more of a fingerprint magnet than the white or eucalyptus green. And perhaps at this price point they could have included a second strap in leather... but they didn't. Still, I'm super happy with my choice and enjoying it immensely!
