Hi, everyone. I've been following this forum for a little while now. This is my first post. I have a couple of questions, historical in nature, that I hope someone can answer.
First: how does Breguet number it's watches? I can't seem to make any sense of them- watches fabricated by A. L. Breguet himself have higher numbers than ones made in 2014.
Second: Can anyone answer-putting aside "souscription" watches-how Breguet, and his sons and the Browns, started on the construction of a watch? Was it after an order; purely speculative; or a combination?
