Question about 3940
It said in the manual to only set the calendar with the time being at 6a.m. so as not to damage any of the gears. What is the true range that the calendar gears are engaged, and is the moon also part of this? Also, if you advance anything while the gears are engaged, do they really get damaged? Or is there a safety mechanism in place.
