Romain Jerome
Romain Jerome's first diver's watch - the "Octopus". Please excuse the photos are the meeting room is an all-black box with no light reflection.
These tourbillons are worth checking out - exhibit a strong steampunk theme.

The Moon Invader
The concept is that each watch has a "moon" made of moon dust fused with silver on the back side. As the owner's skin gets in contact with the sphere, the silver will slowly react chemically, giving it a personalized feel - another concept typical of Romain Jerome-style creativity and imagination.
Also, the gold "landing pads" - aka the lugs, can move, providing comfort for the wearer.
The Blue version - the "X" has blue PVD
The Chocolate Moon Invader, with a chocolate PVD "X".

Finally, to wrap up the presentation, although not exactly new, this is my favorite of all the pieces that I've seen - the Eyjafjallajokull DNA, featuring volcanic ash from Eyjafjallajokull on the dial and on the bezel (this is the newer version, with ash on the bezel, whereas the previous model only has steel bezel).
The look of the piece is quite striking and I like the red painting on it. The texture on the dial is quite nice. I have to admit that this is my favorite RJ DNA piece so far.
Limited to 99 pieces and initially intended as a comical piece, it does remind one of the slight inconvenience from last year's Eyjafjallajokull eruption and the resulting ash clouds (I was trying to get back to the U.S. from London during that time and my plane got cancelled)
Hope you have enjoyed the post.
Yours Truly,
Jon (Z3)
