Pros/Cons, Help deciding on first AP
Looking for an AP to join my small collection of a Rolex DSSD, IWC BP 5004, and gold Patek Calatrava.
Trying to decide between the AP 15400 with Black or Blue dial and the Diver with black dial.
Thoughts on both? Owners point of views? They both use the 3120 movement, right?

I have a 15300 and I've been seriously contemplating getting a Diver.
The 15X00 is just such a nice versatile watch that's what I'd go for if only could pick one. The only thing holding me back on the Diver is that the dial is stamped, as compared to the 15X00 is made by hand using the ancient pentagraph machines
Hi Frank. I am recommending the Diver, despite my general preference for the Royal Oak line.
I have enjoyed Royal Oaks for many years on my wrist. The 15400 reference is simply a "miss" on my wrist. I have tried it on a few times, it just does not evoke the correct proportions for a Royal Oak. I would personally purchase a 37mm 15450 before I wou...
I also have a larger wrist, and can wear the 41mm OK. It is the proportions that bother me.
I just don't like the 15400. It has a real different feeling than most Royal Oaks. Do try on that Diver, I think you will find the perception of it just fine. Certainly thicker, but you might find it "looks" smaller than the other anyways. With a good siz...
